A Lovely Day

Friday, Sept. 19 - A Lovely Day
Journal Entry #22
(Lampang, Sukhothai and Phitsanulok)

Today was probably one of the best days yet. We started the day by checking out a museum that features local pottery. We stopped for lunch at another awful buffet, but then the afternoon was so much fun. We headed to a park of ancient temples where we had the option of taking a tram or riding a bike from temple to temple. We opted for the bikes. It was so much fun to ride around the park on old bikes with our new friends. It felt like we were kids again, playing outside. We even got soda in a bag.

My "ride by" pictures:
Mark, Ryan and Brian (from left to right)

Tarryn, Suzanne, Russ and David; Suzanne and Russ.

Ritche cruising.

Me and my shadow.

Sights seen.  I like how the first one is warped because I snapped it while riding.

In the evening, we took a dip in the hotel pool, and then reconnected at 8 p.m. to meet for dinner. We ate at another river-set restaurant that was very much for “the locals,” and then took a peddled bike back to our hotel.
