Back at the ranch, resting my surviving soles

I'm finally home from the 3-day, 50 mile MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Challenge Walk.  This was my second year participating, so I now have 100 miles under my fanny pack and more than $5,000 donated to MS research and support (from medical assistance to personal assistance) for those with MS in Southern California.

It was another amazing experience. Especially since Bianca, my other really good friend from college was able to join The Reynolds Army team and our fight against MS.  Just a little background:  Bianca, Shashona and I went to Cal State Long Beach together.  About 8 years ago (I'm guessing she was about 27 at the time), Shashona was diagnosed with MS.  She has not let this disease stop her from moving.  There are many others like her who are persistent with their fight against MS.  I am so proud of her (this was her 4th MS Walk Challenge--200 miles under her fanny pack)!  Here are more pictures from the weekend. Big thanks to everyone who supported me!

This guy will not let his MS stop him from moving:

Volunteers are strategically placed to help keep the walkers "cool."

These were the kinds of signs we looked forward to seeing.

All the walkers unite to walk the last mile together.
Those with MS in yellow t-shirts; those in white are proud walkers.

Jill represents!!!

Whooohooo!!

We cross the finish line. FINALLY!!!

Addison (Jill's daughter) shows her support too.

I hope I can count on everyone for their support next year!
